Responsibilities & Opportunities

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Machine Operator to keep our manufacturing operations running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. In this role, you’ll coordinate and guide a team through daily production activities—everything from manufacturing and packaging products to ensuring proper training, documentation, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct daily batch manufacturing activities and workflow
  • Monitor production equipment for safe and efficient operation
  • Handle bulk materials and stage raw materials for production
  • Accurately follow batch instructions, record data, and sample products
  • Program, clean, and maintain dispersers and mixing equipment
  • Recommend improvements to equipment, processes, and safety practices
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with EHS standards
  • Train team members on machine operations and plant procedures
  • Oversee proper plant shutdown procedures at shift end
  • Support special projects or assigned tasks

 

Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Solid math skills and attention to detail
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to teamwork
