Sika Corporation USA is looking for an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Mesquite, TX. This role is critical in ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and overall productivity while fostering a high-performance culture.
What You’ll Do:
Lead daily plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
Champion safety and compliance by maintaining programs that meet OSHA, EPA, Fire Marshall, and other regulatory standards.
Drive performance and productivity by analyzing key metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions.
Oversee hiring, training, and development of operations staff, ensuring team alignment with company goals and safety standards.
Manage production planning and inventory flow in collaboration with Supply Chain and Planning teams.
Monitor product quality and consistency, reduce waste, and improve scrap rates through continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage budgets, capital projects, and cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality and operational standards.
Ensure equipment and facility maintenance meets safety, efficiency, and security standards.
Establish team accountability, conduct performance reviews, and coach employees for growth and success.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or plant operations role.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Experience in production planning, process optimization, and team management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
